Born and raised on Vancouver Island I have called the Cowichan Valley home since 1986. I can truly say this area is one of the most beautiful and diverse areas on Vancouver Island. My wife and I have two kids aged 11 and 13 that we enjoy taking to the Cowichan river for swimming and fishing, out to Port Renfrew to hit the beach and surf and many hikes within the area. There is always an option for outdoor fun.
